Over the years, the condom manufacturing process has changed significantly, but actually the main steps keep the same like before. Many people nowadays would be surprised to know that just a little amount of condoms how they were made. The current manufacturing processes are better than ever before, and condom are made in the safest forms of the contraception.
Condoms are nowadays made of natural materials like rubber, latex or silicone. The materials are derived from the bark of the trees in Asia, these trees basically secrete the mike-like juice which is can be converted to the raw materials rubber, latex. This is the step of raw materials preparation, once the rubber or latex has been cultivated it is sent off to a production facility where it is processed into the condom dipping line to make into different shapes. The condom will be heated up to 100 degrees Celsius made into shapes, this step is a basically important part of manufacturing process making sure the quality of the elasticity of condoms. When condoms come out, we have to test the quality of them. The next step is waterleakage test part, putting water inside of condoms to test their integrity. If water can drop from the condoms, that means the condom fails this test. It’s the time for us to send the condoms to the place for electrically test after testing part. Then machines will packed the condoms into the Aluminum foils squeezing out the air inside to keep them vacuum. And then workers will pack the folded into the boxes. At the same time, the condom is then rolled up and put into its packaging. No human hands can touch the condoms to ensure the condoms aren’t contaminated. During the manufacturing process, safety and sanitation is the most important that workers need to keep in mind deeply.
